It is
showcase time again!!! I will be Salsa Dancing to the song “La Camisa Negra” by
Juanes. When Antonio gave me the song and I heard it I was so excited I
downloaded it immediately and began dancing Salsa right where I was in a
rooftop garden. Salsa classes were my introduction to Daza Dance so I am
feeling very sentimental and can’t wait to see how much more I will learn with
my choreography. Immediately when I get back from Argentina it will be time to
immediately immerse in this vision and I am over the sun excited!!
In the
studio today there is excitement as Mario and Antonio are finishing the choreography
for a showcase routine. I am in the ballroom in a corner practicing my Latin
technique by going through the Latin Dances and then just focusing on walking
and rolling my hips. I can’t help but be inspired as I watch the choreography
unfold before my eyes. Occasionally Antonio would glance my way giving
adjustments and encouraging me to give 150 percent. I am relentless in my quest for perfection and am aiming to
go beyond my best as I continue to move forward.
