It was the first time we could celebrate our anniversary in person in two years. Looking around, I was grateful to see old and new students connected from various backgrounds and cultures, races, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities united by the love of dance.
Students got to know each other outside their private lessons by socializing and dancing. Other evening highlights were the professional performances by our fabulous dance instructor Maximiliano Panesi and his partner Katya Cooper. Seeing them shine on the dance floor doing what they love was beautiful.
As we celebrated the 14th Anniversary of Daza Dance, we also acknowledged our outstanding instructors and staff. Mario Recoba, Maximiliano Panesi, Teresa Dushner, and Kamaria George, I am so grateful for their lasting contributions to the growth and betterment of our community. We are continuing to build this dream together!
