Daza Dance Ballroom Academy: "FAMILY JEWELS" SHOWCASE MOVIE PREMIERE

Welcome to "FAMILY JEWELS" MOVIE-SHOWCASE at Daza Dance! Once again we have been able to accomplish another milestone in our life-journey and we could not be happier than to share it with all of our friends, family members, and students.

We can not be prouder of all of our fantastically-talented students for “wanting to play” in creating something unique and different. Thank you so much for “jumping in the pool” with us. We hope this “FAMILY JEWELS” Movie Showcase experience was everything you ever dreamed of.

However, what can be perceived as success is in great part thanks to the special relationships we have built throughout these years… and speaking about friendship, loyalty, respect, and admiration for someone, then let’s talk about the amazing Daza Dance team of instructors: Mario, Maximiliano, and Valentina. Not only they are the best team anyone can ever wish for, they believed in this crazy idea from the beginning and worked extremely hard to make that vision possible. They always go the extra 100 miles to make sure everything is simply magnificent, as well as a true representation of what and who we are. Thank you my friends for all the support, trust and loyalty to this dream we have built together. Thank you for being the best partners-in-crime anyone can ever ask for. Your presence in my life, personally and professionally, is one of the most special gifts the universe has provided us with. Thank you for being crazy, thank you for playing, and thank you for contributing in building together a better world for all.

Additionally, thank you to our extraordinary choreographer Tamsyn Devilliers for giving life to all these characters on the dance floor. It is always such a pleasure to work with you and construct these beautiful messages through movement and dance. Thank you for all you bring into our studio and for helping us build our community. We are so grateful to you for sharing your dance knowledge and experience with all of us.

Comparably, Daniel Espeute and the team of Espeute Production have provided Daza Dance with the best video and film production services for almost 10 years. We have seen Espeute Productions grow and develop into such an admirable business, and we are so happy to have began this awesome business partnership and friendship. Undoubtedly, we have the outmost respect for people like them, who follow their dreams, succeed doing it, and share it with others so they can succeed as well. Though this “Family Jewels” Movie Showcase was a big jump and a crazy idea, we knew that Daniel and the team of Espeute Productions would be there to support us along the way... so thank you for being there throughout the whole process, guiding us at times when we just simply didn’t know how to move forward. Thank you for all these years of learning together how to bring more peace, joy, and love into the world through Art.

Likewise, thank you to our friend Kenia Calva for always making our hearts smile with the most delicious food. Still, this time around we were even happier because she could take a break from being behind the scenes to be our special guest. Thank you Kenia for sharing your warmth, your values, your culture, and your positive energy with all of us.

Last but no least, , Thank you to our family members, and close friends for being part of this special moment in our history. Your support is always very important and appreciated.

Finally, it is fair to say that this project was successful because it benefited and uplifted everyone involved. Daza Dance family as we have just began this 2020 let us continue to grow and expand not just as creators, dancers, and performers but as people. Let us strive for continued excellence and continue to break new grounds keeping love as the center; bringing life and encouragement to each person in our community and the world.
