VIVA LAS VEGAS COMPETITION 2019 - LAS VEGASE, NEVADA

We had a fantastic time at the Viva Las Vegas Competition, held at the beautiful Caesar's Palace Hotel. The event took place from Friday, July 12th, until Monday, July 15th. This competition is organized every year by the talented and professional team of World Promotions, Inc, led by Anna and Andrew Smart.
We had the opportunity to share this experience with our students: Heidi Braniff, Regina Davis, Lee Roberson, and Bill Bennett, as well as our dance instructors: Mario Recoba and Maximiliano Panesi.
Without a doubt, this event will forever have a special place in our memories, not only because the actual competition results, but also because the friendships that were created, and the ones that got even more solid. Once again Daza Dance left a great impression on the rest of the dance community, and I am so proud to be part of a team that is constantly looking for ways to impact other people's lives in a positive, fun, welcoming, and supportive manner.

A big shout-out to Lee Roberson for all of his love, caring and support during this weekend’s competition. Though he was always behind the scenes, we could not have done as good as we did without him there just simply caring and helping us in every possible way. It was a pleasure having you here with us...

...and of course our Daza Dance Jackets made a strong statement 🙏😘😉!!!

Thank you Anna and Andrew Smart for always welcoming us with such professionalism and warmth at each one of the events we participate. You guys really out did yourself tzhis time. Every details was taken care of and we felt extremely comfortable, appreciated and loved. Our success is in grab part Thanks to you.... you provide a wonderful space for our dance dreams to come true.

...and yes we are partly responsible for all of these success haha. Thank you Mario Recoba and Maximiliano Panesi for all your hard work. You guys put the hours in, the effort, and the energy to make our dreams come true. I could not asked for a better team of people to work with. I love you very much and I’ll be forever grateful for helping build something unique and special.

We are the best team (or at least I think so haha)... and once again we proved it.... I’m so proud of being part of this amazing community that we all have built together. It’s not perfect by any means, but it thrives to be better everyday. There is a lot of support, caring, love, trust, and FUN! Thank you everyone that makes possible that this dream called Daza Dance a reality!

Wow.... what can I say about these two amazing individuals that I haven’t said before? Hmm it’s ok... I’ll say again: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for everything (literately everything). Mario Recoba and Maximiliano Panesi are the best friends, coworkers, partners, support-team, advisers, psychologists at times, hard-working-people, I have ever met in my life. If it wasn’t for them none of this Daza Dance dream could be a reality. I feel so lucky and humble to have you in my life. I so much appreciate all your love and caring for always putting your best foot and effort forward. Together we are an extremely strong team and I’m looking forward to many more years of experiences together... who knows where this journey will take us. In the mean time let’s continue to change the world one person at a time. This week we just spent in Vegas will forever hold a special place in my heart . You truly are a blessing.... Los quiero muchísimo chicos!

And a fun-crazy picture with our friends from Enchanted Ballroom and Ms. Hannah Cole. Again, always good to spend time with people who mutually love and care for each other.... thank you for everything... Can’t wait to see again soon!!! One of my favorite things about going to the competitions is to meet and connect with other people, who share the same interests, motivations, and desires as I do. There are so many wonderful people I’ve been able to get to know throughout the years and continue to cultivate our friendship. At the same time it’s always awesome to meet new ones and welcome them into our family! We had the great privilege to spend the weekend cheering, supporting, and enjoying this experience with these amazing ladies: Chelsea and Jazmin.... you guys were fabulous!!!! I’m looking forward to see you again very soon!
