Last Saturday, September 19th, the Daza Dance
students and instructors, had the opportunity to share the dance floor during
the “Movie Night Showcase”. After months of preparation, they finally put on
their ballroom gowns, costumes as well as their dance shoes to perform their beautifully
choreographed routines to their favorite movie themed songs in front of their
family members and friends.
Getting ready to perform at a Showcase event is one of the most self-rewarding and unforgettable experiences anyone could have in their life. A lot of energy, sweat, and even sometimes tears, get put into getting ready for such affair. The journey that instructors and students go through while they prepare their routines and get them ready to perform helps them to connect more as individuals. This process goes beyond just learning dance steps and techniques; it is an emotional expedition into their emotions and souls.
Needless to say, everyone did a fantastic
job; we are extremely proud of all of the Daza Dance team that performed at GPB
last Saturday… What an amazing night we had! At Daza Dance, we hope
that "Movie Night Showcase" was an unforgettable encounter that will
always be cherished in everyone’s hearts. Thanks so
much to all of our students for their continuous support, trust, and care; Daza
Dance will be nothing without you.
Thank you so much to all of our instructors for their
professionalism and for being such a great team to work with, but more
importantly, thank you for believing in my dream and making it your own. You
are a great example of hard work, discipline, and vision.
I am committed to continue offering a space at Daza
Dance where everyone can continue growing in their dance skills, becoming
better human beings, as well as providing a space where everybody can find
peace and a loving community.
